Music Folder doesn't collect any personal data. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or trackers. Your music stays on your device and in your own iCloud account.

Your music and notes

Your sheet music, folders, set lists, annotations, notes, recordings and practice history are stored on your device. If iCloud is turned on, they sync through your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. The developer can't see or access this content, and there are no servers that hold it.

Sharing with others

When you share a folder or set list, it's shared through iCloud only with the people you invite. You choose whether each person can edit or only view, and you can stop sharing at any time. Your annotations are never shared.

Microphone

The tuner and the recorder use the microphone only while you're using them. Sound for the tuner is analyzed on your device and isn't saved or sent anywhere. Recordings are saved to your library.

Planning Center

If you connect Planning Center, you sign in on Planning Center's own page. To finish signing in, the app uses a small sign-in helper run by the developer. It passes the sign-in to Planning Center and stores nothing. Your Planning Center sign-in is kept in your device's Keychain, and your songs and plans are loaded directly from Planning Center. Disconnecting removes the sign-in and any saved Planning Center data from your device.

Free sheet music

Browsing the built-in catalog of public-domain scores downloads files from the catalog's server. No personal information is sent with these requests.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. The developer never receives your payment details.

Contacting support

If you send a report through the support form, your name (if you give it), email address and message are delivered to the developer's inbox through Web3Forms, and used only to reply to you. You can also email musicfolder.app@gmail.com directly.

Children

Music Folder doesn't collect personal data from anyone, including children.
